I spent my Sunday morning last week at the Ahmedabad Farmer’s market picking up some farm-fresh veggies and sampling some local brands creating healthy and organic products from fresh produce. Here’s the cutesy setup!
Here’s a little picture with the ladies who put the market together and what a brilliant job they did !!! Also, spot me sneaking some aubergines and kacchi kharek in my bag. My sunday morning got a whole lot better!
First stop: Kensville’s organic range! From those bright and yummy Jamun shots to Hibiscus hair masks and indian digestive powders, everything’s created out of what is grown at Kensville.

My outfit, ideal for any daytime event, is by Frisbee By Renaissance! A blush pink and white with a free-fitting silhouette is ideal for a sunny morning and pairs perfectly with my shopping tote from Floored.
How can any farmer’s market seem complete without some jams and spreads? The Gourmet Jar took care of that! From Apricot Marmalade to an Olive Tapenade, they house everything!
Next, Think Organic, the one-stop shop for a full-access to an all-organic pantry! Their latest addition includes freshly baked breads which I sampled with some Mulberry preserve, YUM!
Some that I particularly liked were Khet se Plate, an in-house rendition of the farm-to-table concept and Madhuban that does over 20 variants of organic honey. You can catch me tasting some!
Also, Azpro with it’s Salvia Hispanica seeds are super rich in fibre and can be aded to any drink or even your water for that daily dose of health!
I spent my Sunday supporting local businesses that are trying to create a healthy dialogue with their products. Make sure you visit the next edition.
